چکیده
This paper investigates physical layer security for a large-scale WSN with random multiple access, where each fusion center in the network randomly schedules number of sensors to upload their sensed data subject overhearing distributed eavesdroppers. We propose an uncoordinated jamming scheme which those unscheduled send signals certain probability defeat With aid stochastic geometry theory and order statistics, we derive analytical expressions connection outage secrecy characterize transmission reliability secrecy, respectively. Based on obtained results, formulate optimization problem maximizing sum throughput both constraints, considering joint design wiretap code rates scheduled sensor sensors. provide optimal low-complexity sub-optimal algorithms tackle above problem, further reveal various properties parameters are useful guide practical designs. In particular, demonstrate that proposed is beneficial improving throughput, result trade-off between throughput. also show performance approaches one when facing stringent constraint or loose constraint.

Large-scale Wireless Networks: Stochastic Geometry and Ordering
Recently, the location of the nodes in wireless networks has been modeled as point processes. In this dissertation, various scenarios of wireless communications in large-scale networks modeled as point processes are considered. The first part of the dissertation considers signal reception and detection problems with symmetric alpha stable noise which is from an interfering network modeled as a ...
متن کاملPhysical Layer Security in Wireless Communication Networks
Physical layer (PHY) security has become an emerging area of research recently. Wireless networks use unguided medium as communication channels, so gathering wireless data transmission is easier when compared to traditional cable systems. With the rise of new security challenges, many different solutions have been offered and are being developed. However, maintaining security in wireless networ...
متن کاملA new approach for random key pre-distribution in large-scale wireless sensor networks
In a wireless sensor network (WSN), pre-distribution of secret keys is possibly the most practical approach to protect network communications. To meet the stringent resource constraints of the sensor nodes, key pre-distribution schemes should be highly efficient, require as little storage space as possible, and at the same time, maintain a strong security strength, that is, high resilience agai...
متن کاملLarge-scale Multiple-source Detection Using Wireless Sensor Networks
This dissertation concerns the sequential large-scale detection of multiple potential sources using wireless sensor networks. A new 2-step approach to sequential multiple-source detection is introduced called the iterative partial sequential probability ratio test (IPSPRT) that minimizes the time-to-decision as the desired probability of false alarm and probability of miss decrease. The first s...
